CEVA outline challenges; Neovia are buying; Interesting artwork for eyefortransport

The news is dominated this week by stories that emanated from the 3PL Summit and CSCO Forum last week in Chicago. It was a great event with nearly 600 senior executives in attendance, but I am obviously biased, so take a look at some of Jeff Berman’s articles below, which give a more independent view.

I was lucky to be able to conduct a Q&A about 3D printing alongside a live demo of the technology. As I expected the audience was very much divided as to how much this technology could potentially affect the logistics industry. However, I’m still of the opinion that there could be some major adaptations needed in the traditional spare parts logistics business once this becomes more mainstream.

We are now busy on the European version of the 3PL Summit and CSCO Forum, which is scheduled for Amsterdam on November 12-14. If you are interested in getting involved then please let me know.

Lastly, both the Huffington Post and the London Evening Standard published a photo of some striking artwork which now adorns the side of our office/warehouse conversion here in London this week, so if you wish to see where the eyefortransport team get down to business then take a look at the articles here -  Huffington Post and London Evening Standard
