Eyefreight appoints new chairman of the board and chief executive officer

Geoffrey Finlay and Ken Fleming join Transport Management Software provider to drive real business value through global operations

Eyefreight, a leading provider of Transport Management System technology, announced the appointment of Geoffrey Finlay and Ken Fleming to the positions of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, respectively.  Both Finlay and Fleming join Eyefreight with immediate effect.  Together they will drive and execute the strategic, operational and revenue goals for the organisation, staying true to the company’s tenets of innovation, customer service and sustainability.

With more than 35 years of experience in the software and computer technology industries, Finlay has acted as CEO for both UK and US public companies, and held chairmanships as well as non-executive director roles in public and venture-backed businesses.  A serial and successful entrepreneur, his achievements include leading the sale of nCipher to Thales during his tenure as CEO, and acting as managing director during the NASDAQ flotation of JDA Software.   Previous positions include chairman of UDEX Ltd. and CEO at Kewill Systems, where Finlay first worked with Fleming.

Like Finlay, Fleming has a proven track record of commercialising new technologies and services including e-commerce, supply chain management and enterprise software.  Prior to joining the Eyefreight team, Fleming was president and founder of Fleming & Partners Management Consulting, where key clients included PartnerData (now Channel Clarity), Agentrics, LLC and Eyefreight. A seasoned veteran in value chain management, Fleming was also president and COO of Transora, VP of global product marketing at Kewill Systems, and director of international marketing at Sterling Commerce.
