Over 850,000-sq-ft of distribution centre space planned in Mount Pleasant, Milwaukee

Distribution centre planned to open in 2020 in Mount Pleasant
According to documents submitted to the Department of Natural Resources, development company MLG is planning an 858,000-square-foot distribution centre in Mount Pleasant that could employ 250 people once operational.
The project is expected to cost $55.7 million and is to act as a regional distribution centre for R.C. Distribution.
The 63-acre site would be situated south of Highway 20 along the Southeast Frontage Road of I-94.
According to the DNR documents, work on the project would start in June 2019 and be complete by September 2020. Planning for the project began in 2016, the documents say.
