eft Weekly Newsletter 6th February 2014

3 new supply chain columns; 3PL CEOs to engage industry; UPS Results

This week I wanted to highlight our columnists as 3 of them have new and insightful entries to share. Vivek Sood examines the five stages of outsourcing and provides ‘Four Critical Lessons From the Leaders Who Outsource Well’. Meanwhile, Mark Millar investigates ‘Asia Rising in 2014’ and how the rules and regulations might affect the supply chain. Finally, I deliver some thoughts and link to some interesting articles on how current economic trends might influence the logistics industry

If you, or someone within your company is interested in providing a regular column at least 4 times a year, then please let me know.

Lastly, make sure you spend a few minutes and take a look at the agenda, speaker list and details for the 12th 3PL Summit and CSCO Forum in Chicago on June 11-13. It really is an amazing gathering of 600+ C-level executives from the logistics industry and supply chain functions. I hope you can make it as it’s always nice to meet some of our readers…plus the more successful the event is, the more resources we can put into providing better research for you ;0) If you are unable to make those dates or location then please forward the details to your interested colleagues.
