250 million sq ft of warehousing space mapped; 1st Q results galore for Logistics companies

A few months ago we put together a simple map of the HQ density of leading 3PLs in North America; as soon as we published this map, we were inundated with requests for a ‘more-useful’ map of actual 3PL warehousing capacity in North America. So just like the Genie in Aladdin ‘your wish is my command’…….voila - you can now download such a map here.

Please note that this is the first edition, and it is no way 100% comprehensive, but it does give a good idea of where 3PLs have their public warehousing. We have also listed the size and exact address of all the facilities state by state. In all we covered 997 facilities and over 200 million square foot of warehousing. If you would like your 3PL public warehousing to be including in the next version then please drop me an email.

If you have any more requests for specific business intelligence products you would like to see, then just let me know, as we may actually be able to deliver it for our readers.

Regards,
Chris Saynor
CEO, eyefortransport

Featured Content: Warehouse Density Map of top North American 3PLs

eyefortransport has completed its first edition of its North American Warehouse Density Map

The map provides a macro view of 3PL warehousing space throughout the US and Canada, allowing for an understanding of the industry’s capacity in the region.

You can see the complimentary map directly here.

During eyefortransport’s research into 3PLs and Logistics companies, there was some availability of publicly listed warehousing statistics by North American 3PLs. With this in mind, eyefortransport decided to consolidate this information onto one map using such publicly listed information as well as company interviews to gain a perspective on the industry’s warehouse capacity distribution throughout the area.

‘I think this map will really provide the industry with a valuable overview on how the 3PLs are creating capacity throughout North America.’ Said Chris Saynor, CEO of eyefortransport.

The map features:

• A state by state breakdown of warehousing locations
• A county by county breakdown of warehousing capacity in the four states with the most warehouse capacity
• A breakdown of corresponding warehouse locations, companies, and contact information
• 247,566,422 total square footage recorded
• 997 facilities
