eyefortransport hosted a webinar on March 29th featuring presentations by Avnet and Gartner, looking into Near Shoring and some of the other trends, game changers and disruptive technologies set to affect supply chain in the years to come.

 

Our expert speakers gave first-hand insight into the next generation of supply chain challenges, trends and opportunities:

 

  • Robert Brenner, SVP of Warehousing and Distribution of Avnet, a $26 billion electronic component distributor shared some of his insight into near shoring with a special focus on Mexico.
  • Greg Aimi, Research Director at Gartner delved into some of Gartner's research predicting what’s set to come in 2013 in supply chain and logistics. Greg discussed some of Gartner’s findings with regards to multichannel retail’s evolution and collaborative logistics.
